Formed in 2020, Arch Beverage Guild was created based on the believe that wine and spirit producers need a new model to better access to the three-tier market. We’ll align your sales and marketing efforts to develop a strategy that’s right for your business. We offer access to the three-tier distribution business and bring integrated resources required to meet growth objectives and ROI. Christopher Pappe, Founding Partner
Christopher brings over 28 years of executive level experience in premium wine sales and marketing. Christopher is currently founder and CEO of CRP Wine Trade Solutions based in Napa California, a full-service agency crafting marketing and sales strategies for the wine industry. He started his career in the luxury hotel restaurant business in California. Christopher then embarked on a career in wine importing, and national supply side management working with such companies as Winebow, Inc. NY, Stacole Fine Wines, Boca Raton, FL, Dutton-Goldfield Winery, Sebastopol, CA and Jackson Family’s Cardinale Estate in St. Helena, CA.
Mr. Pappe has also held the executive positions at Chatterbox Wine Marketing Services, in Napa California, Bacchus Capital Management in New York, and Panther Creek Cellars in Dundee, OR. Mr. Pappe is also the author of “The Business of Wine”-Building Your Brand from the Store Shelf to the Vineyard, a course he will be teaching at the Napa Valley Wine Academy.
Ed Edwards, Founding Partner
Ed brings the versatility from both Fortune 1000 Corporations (Brown Forman V.P. and General Manager) and numerous family fine wine & spirits companies. Equally important is his experience in the distribution business while at Winebow, a well-respected wholesaler in key states across America, where Ed served as VP of Sales and Marketing. His extensive hands-on experience in brand positioning and maximizing profits for both supplier and wholesaler, in conjunction with three national sales awards, brings excellent synergy for sales and marketing objectives for suppliers.
In the private entrepreneur sector, Ed owns Meritage Wine & Spirits, a sales and marketing company specializing in the eastern region of the US for the past 15 years. Ed’s forty-year career has been dedicated solely to the beverage alcohol industry in the US. Ed holds a communications degree from James Madison University and completed graduate studies at the Wharton Business School.
Tonya Noble, VP, Marketing
Tonya Noble is a strategic, data driven marketing expert who is passionate about helping brands create and execute compelling marketing strategies that both touch the hearts and minds of consumers and increase sales and profits. Tonya is highly skilled in brand postioning, marketing campaign development, and social media and digital strategy. After getting her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Tonya spent six years working at E&J Gallo Winery, where she led various marketing initiatives for brands such as Barefoot Wine, Gallo Family Vineyards, and Andre Champagne as well as launched multiple new products across the company’s wide brand portfolio.
Tonya then transitioned to Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits as portfolio lead for [ yellow tail] wine. While on that brand, Tonya spearheaded two a multi-million dollar 360° integrated campaigns that included digital & social strategies (both paid and organic), product innovation, and digital and TV ad spots. Most notably, Tonya spearheaded a Super Bowl TV Ad in 2019 that resulted in mentions in multiple Super Bowl “Best Of” lists. Prior to becoming a marketer, Tonya was a technology consultant at Deloitte, where she managed large scale software implementations with fortune 500 companies.
